Located at the north-east limits of the city’s old Forum complex. The museum conserves the archaeological remains of a public building which served as a go-between linking the bank of the river Ebro and the Forum. Inside you will hear about the importance of the river Ebro in those times, on whose banks you would find landing docks and large ports. The Caesar Augusta port would have taken up a large part of the city’s right bank, on a straight stretch with calm waters, protected from the current, at the end of a sharp meander.
